This summer Advent Health Care had the opportunity to partner with Canada Summer Jobs Program to hire a student for this summer. At the beginning of July, Zahara McGann joined our staff as our Office / Public Relations Assistant. During her time with us she has worked in our main office and at Valleyview Residence and Forestview Retirement Residence. She assisted and supported operations in office organization, staff scheduling, life enrichment and program activities, and further developing Advent’s social media presence.
The Honorable Micheal Levitt, MP York Centre, visited the Advent office on August 22 to meet Zahara, discuss what she has been doing during the summer and present her with a Canada Summers Jobs Program Certificate.
Advent Health Care appreciated the support from the Canada Summer Job Program and thanks Zahara for working with us through the summer and trust that she is leaving with additional workplace skills and capabilities. It was a pleasure to have her working with us and we wish her well in her future endeavors and education.
